I’m glad to see you’re checking out the new site. We’re excited to have finally released it!
To be a bit more specific about what Alex had previously mentioned, we’ve made this site more user friendly. And obviously with a more user friendly site we’re hoping to get a lot more of you involved. And not just the kind of involved where you visit the site once a month to see if anything has changed or there are any giveaways. The kind of involved that makes you feel like you’re part of a multigaming community. The previous site, although it did still get some use, did not nearly gain as much interest as we would have liked.
The reason for this is pretty simple, there wasn’t that much to do. When you want to say something, do you really want to go onto the forum, find the specific section to post it in and just wait for people to perhaps read it?
No I’m pretty sure you don’t, because I don’t. I’m sure when you take a look at the new forum you’ll see how much more streamlined it as and how much easier it is to post what’s on your mind. It’ll be much easier for other people to see and it’s much more likely that people will want to get involved.
Another thing the previous site was lacking was relevant News. From now on you’re only going to be reading News that we think you’ll actually be interested in, stuff that you’ll benefit from learning and may help you enjoy gaming even more.
Aside from this we’ll also have Blog posts. I know I will be submitting regular Blog posts that should give you more information about new releases, some reviews and gameplay footage. My first Blog post will give you more information on this though.
Another thing that we want to happen is people to get more involved in streaming. We will be using the Meax Twitch account to stream as many of our CS GO games as possible for those of you who are interested in following the team. You’re also welcome to submit a link to your stream so anyone can watch when you have something to share.
Anyway, welcome to the new site everyone.
